After you and your pet have been introduced to the vet, we'll escort you into an exam room. Here, we'll review your pet's health history and habits, and discuss your goals for your pet's care. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like!
Next, the vet will perform a full 'nose to tail' exam. They will thoroughly examine your pet’s skin, coat, eyes, ears, mouth and nose, as well the legs, joints, abdomen and anal sac. They will listen to your pet’s heart and lungs, and older pets may also have blood tests to check their kidneys, liver and other internal organs. If your pet is due for any vaccinations or laboratory work, we will also take care of these needs during this appointment.
